Hi folks some members of the Australian Homeland Party were down on the Perth esplanade taking photographs on Saturday and voicing off protests to let the public know Australian Homeland Party is endeavouring to save our foreshore that is shortly going to be, if no objections are raised, sold to the developer and the green lawns encased in a concrete jungle (Similar to the Convention Centre) which will soon become home to some rich occupants to live in… or as a base from which to extract more money from you every day battlers.
In case you are unaware of it, this foreshore was built by your forefathers In 1880 with their bare hands and for their use as a meeting place for a hundred and one different events including the farewelling of our brave Anzacs. Many who unfortunately did not return from wars that has kept this country safe from armed aggressors. (unarmed ones it seems, we now welcome)
The reclaimed Land proved so popular that it was decided by the people of that day, that future West Australians must also enjoy it’s serenity, so unreservedly they issued a DEED OF GRANT ( passing the land on to you,) which reads “For the free recreation and enjoyment of the people forever”. seems your Premier has trouble deciphering this simply bequeath.
As your Premier Colin Barnett is known to bend the truth now and again some “Australian Homeland Party” members have decided to spend most Saturdays running up to the elections on that beautiful green lawn between The Bell Tower and that very touching memorial to one of our past heroes Lieutenant General J.J Talbot-Hobbs, I hope for PCBs sake he has no intentions of destroying it… as he has of destroying the Heritage listed building that stands on the same land. (moving it is destroying it) Lets show PCB that we West Australians are not wimps that can be pushed around… as they are in the other States….
